Frog perspective

Why did the frog's perspective it means exactly, not wood mouse perspective, is beyond my knowledge. Many animals would be offered as well named, and the amphibian has stopped the race.

When the worm's eye view is the subject taken from the bottom and has a lot more powerful and bigger, especially when shooting with a small focal length (wide angle) and from a distance. The wow factor in the observer is greater, the smaller the motive really is. But also for animals and children photography, offers this unusual perspective.

Aus Sicht eines Frosches: Pusteblumen.

From the perspective of a frog: dandelions. Focal length 28mm, 1/200 sec, f8, ISO 100

Sometimes it is even the frog

The urbanity is often even before you like the frog who looks up at tall buildings. Sometimes it is Kafkaesque features, especially in large cities. To shoot this, you have to take a wide angle lens, but which unfortunately tends to distort. So inclined, like the skyscrapers then act on the pictures, they would each architect, structural engineer or engineer's blood run cold in his veins. There are special lenses (so-called shift lenses), equalize this effect, but the photographer will take a normal mortal, given the cost of an acquisition interval. In programs such as Photoshop, there is indeed a way to fix a certain extent this perspective distortion (distortion Edit> Transform> Perspective), but some information is lost, while other areas of the image in return for their part now appear distorted. Here's an example:

Aufgenommen in einer Hamburger Hochhaussiedlung. Brennweite 14mm, 1/60 Sek., f5, ISO 100. Originalbild mit deutlich stürzenden Linien.

Recorded in a Hamburg high-rise development. Focal length 14mm, 1/60 sec, f5, ISO 100 Original image with converging lines clear.

Das Bild nach Bearbeitung mittels Perspektivischer Verzerrung (PS). Alles wirkt gedrungen, wichtige Infos fehlen -- aber etwas weniger stürzen die Linien schon.

The image after processing by Perspective Distortion (PS). Everything is penetrated, important information is missing - but a little less, the lines fall already.
