Yesterday's was, at noon. It cracked significantly from the ducks corner of the balcony. Eizähnchen threaded their way through the calcareous shell. Saucy ducklings under, beside and in front of the mother, and before you know it so twelve (12 words), squat. Here is a small photo gallery:

Today, early in the morning, then fleeing the nest. Some chicks have made it to the top of the wall, some have slipped and landed on the balcony. There are about four meters head to Fleet, departed, but as a mom is, did those who were able to climb the obstacle, in defiance of death afterwards. The transport was, however prepared, the chicks were collected and brought the mother chattering excitedly to the water. Short inventory control, all twelve were "out of the box" to your Mama scurry - and swam away with her.

Oh, Joan, there are things that a man must do, even if they break his heart. And this morning broke the hearts of the same three men. My sons and I watched from the chicks back and forth and have - like me - prefer to keep some. For those who have landed on the balcony, I was briefly in real temptation. But mom croaked from the bottom and waited. Had they, however, one can sit on the shore ... And feel so good! I had all the things collected by one tousle. World class!
